An alliance for classical music

How artist management, labels and music conservatories collaborate

INTERACTIVE PANEL | “Our world is in the middle of various transformations, so is our music business. In order to keep our wonderful eco-system healthy and alive, it is our goal to find new models and alliances for helping artists with a sustainable career.”

In our pluralised world, artist’s careers don’t follow traditional paths, but are highly individualised. They differ not only regarding repertoire, territories or style of interpretation, but equally important also in terms of personality, branding, narration, audience development and social responsability. This requires a whole new approach of management and support. This session examines a case study on how the fields of artist management, touring, presenting, curating, recording, fundraising, educating, marketing, communication, and information technology can be integrated. Current and future challenges will be addressed and tackled in exchange with the participants.
